Product Description
A "Grade A" Factory Second folder may have pull-to-open rings (as opposed to a set of rings that open with a tab you push) and will have small flaws that don't allow it to pass quality control. It might relate to closed alignment, a scratch, a stitching issue or some issue with the cover material, but should not be visible to the audience at a choir concert, and saving 25% on these should be considered a very good value.
The two-pocket Choir RingBinder is for those who mainly hole-punch their music.
"But I want two pockets!" -- that's what you told us, so that's what we've added -- for choral singers, directors, or conductors who mainly rely on hole-punched sheet music. It's also compatible with magazine holders, which can fit into the rings and retain larger scores and sheet music that is not hole-punched.
Much like our other folders, the Choir RingBinder with Two Expanding Pockets is durable, lightweight, and ergonomic -- we have closed the bottom pocket corners too so a tuning fork can't slip out. It features a bottom strap that can be unbuttoned on one side so that the folder can be easily held in one hand at an ideal angle, or lay flat.
A set of 1" locking rings is solidly mounted within the folder, and opens with the push of a single button. In addition, a snag-free interlock prevents paper from being caught during page turns, which is very important during recording so that the page turns aren't heard.
The convenient and comfortable hand strap at the back of this RingBinder allows you to hold it easily with one hand, and the deeply-textured leatherette helps dissipate the perspiration that can occur under hot stage lighting.
Both pockets expand at left and right so you can organize as you are used to. All folders come with a name card pocket and card itself, and hold US Letter and A4, and all common score sizes with ease. As this RingBinder only has a SINGLE booster tab at its bottom, taller European A4 music that has been punched in the 3-hole style common to North America will not come in contact with a booster tab at the top -- so your sheet music won't push against an upper tab.
Finally, a clear pocket option is available on the folder's left, or both left and right pockets; this allows for quick and discreet reading of a concert programme or church service bulletin, rather than having to pull up a programme to see the lower portion of the page. It's also perfect for storing readily-accessible notes, such as changes in your standing order and directors' rehearsal plans. Photos are often found within the clear pocket as well -- especially among touring choirs.
